Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 400 yards RT)
Status: alive
While riding my bike the other day I found this pleasant neighborhood oasis called Bees Creek Park, and since my old knees were creaking as I rode, the name made me think of an old bee with creaking joints instead of the nice creek running behind the park. Hopefully you will get a laugh while enjoying a nice little walk.
Directions:
From Hwy 6 go south on Sienna Pkwy about 2 miles to Bees Passage. Turn right and go to Bees Creek Road just before dead-end at the creek. Turn left for about 0.1 mile and park in front of Bees Creek Park on the right.
Clues:
Walk on the gravel trail counter-clockwise to first bench on right at back of park. Facing bench, walk behind right side 40 steps toward wood fence to clump of small trees. Minibox is within at back base under sticks and leaves.
