From rt 123, enter lincoln woods. You will pass under the lincoln woods bridge. Take your first right toward A&B fields and picnic areas 1-8. Continue down this road a ways until you see a sign that says 2 2A 2B 3. From there you will see 2 signs that say authorized vehicles only. Enter the trail. Continue until the trail breaks off into 2 directions. Keep left. As you head up hill you will see a large rock formation with faded graffiti on the right. Continue going up hill. At the break in the trail, turn left going up hill until you see a trail to the left of the main trail. There is a V tree to the left side of this trail and a small boulder in the center of the trail. Stay on this trail until it splits, then take a right, going up hill. Walk a ways until yo see a V tree with a rotted bottom on your left. This is a perfect place for a letter box, but that's not where it is! Still continuing on the mail trail, go 10 paces uphill until you see another V tree on the right with rocks behind it. Go to this tree. Behind it, the letterbox is hiding in a hole in the rocks covered by leaves.

A pen is included. Bring your own ink. We left stickers instead of a stamp. We hope you enjoyed this nice walk at lincoln woods. Either turn around the way you came or get lost and find your way back like we did!
