Cashmere, Washington is the home of Liberty Orchards makers of the infamous Aplets & Cotlets. The fruit and nut confections were first manufactured in the 1920 and soon became a Pacific Northwest Favorite. The factory is still going strong and you can visit it in downtown Cashmere. They offer "sweetest tour on the Cascade Loop" where you can see how the candies are made. And, even better they have samples of FREE candies fresh from our factory! You can check here for the factory tour hours. https://www.libertyorchards.com/visit

Directions:
From Highway 2 turn onto Aplets Way. Continue onto N Division St. Turn left onto Mission Ave and park in the Aplets & Cotlets Factory parking lot.

To the box:
Even if the factory isn't open you can still grab the letterbox. Go to the little park across the the street from the Aplets & Cotlets Factory. Look for the rock labeled "Railroad Park, Cashmere Women's Club". The letterbox is behind this rock, hidden beneath a smaller smooth rock. Rehide it well underneath the rock, as we wouldn't want anyone to find it while cleaning the park.

Recommended Ink Colors: Red, orange, yellow, green
