Placed by: The Rose Family and Jam n' Jelly
Location: Wildwood Park Thousand Oaks
Directions: From the 101 Freeway in Thousand Oaks take the Lynn Rd exit, head north. Turn Left at Avenida de los Arboles and go to the end. Make a u-turn and park in the lot by the road.
Clues: From the parking lot walk to the road and parking lot entrance. From here you will walk into the park past the gate at the entrance. If you look to your left you will see a trail that goes down a bank to a sign. The top half of the sign is broken and points to your left as you are looking at the sign. Trail to the left is Moon Ridge. Trail to the right is Indian Creek. Take the trail to the left; you will wind down over a drainage pipe. Follow this trail until you get to the next sign. From this sign you will want to take the trail that goes down towards the creek. You will pass a cactus garden and come to a part in the trail that has boards over the trail. Kind of like a bridge but not going over anything. Take this trail until you get to Indian Creek Picnic Grounds. There will be one picnic table, as you go to the table sit on the right side and take your compass out. From the table find the tree at 200 deg. The box is hidden behind bark and leaves in the hollow of the tree
