It is that time of year again. The "kids" have gotten another year older, so their new boxes are placed.
We were able to find a new Joshua Trust preserve to place all three in. Dogs are allowed on leash and you must pick up after them.
These stamps are "recycled". If you have ever been to Bicentennial Park in Berlin you may have found these images when they were there.
On to the clues in this cute little preserve.
After locating the ample parking area on Back Road in Windham for the Allanach-Wolf Woodlands preserve and parking, head out on the paved road.
Follow the road until it begins to curve to the left to a cul-de-sac. There will be a white garage on your right.
Go forward, off the pavement, to the yellow blaze trail.
In just a few steps, you will see the blue blazed trail on your left. This is before you cross the water. Take the blue trail.
Follow it across the paved area and again back into the woods.
When you come to a red blazed trail on your right, stop.
Take the red trail to the right and follow it to the end where there is a picnic table overlooking the water.
After you have enjoyed the view, turn around and head back ~ 60 steps to a very large two sister tree.
Look behind it and under a rock or two to find Reilly's birthday box.
PLEASE re-hide this carefully and naturalize the area so that the box will last.
Enjoy yourself!
