Scouting Sally
Level of Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10 minutes
Location: Hayes Nature Park is located off Moe Road, just north of Thoroughbred Way in Clifton Park.
This box was planted by a Girl Scout Daisy Troop to help earn the Amazing Daisy Journey Award. Now as Brownies, the troop will be checking on the letterbox to see if anyone visits Scouting Sally.
Start at the parking lot for the nature park. From the parking lot follow the trail to the first intersection. Proceed left on the “Loop Trail” and cross the first bridge. After the bridge continue on the path to the next fork in the trail. Go to the left staying on the “Loop Trail”. Proceed across the bridge and before the end of the bridge, look to the right for the tree stump. Under the roots of the tree you will find our letterbox. Be sure to bring your own ink pad and pen.
Please reseal the box carefully so everything stays dry, and rehide well, completely hidden from view.
We hope you enjoy your walk in the park! Thanks for visiting GS Troop #2678!
