. . . Spread a Little Mermaid
This mermaid was on the chicken of the sea tuna can in the 1960's! Carve by Sea Maid.
Fee at time of planting is $3 per person, free for those 12 & under.
Follow clues to my Festival of Dark Arts box OR
Just past the main entrance, there is a trailhead (no sign to date) and small parking lot on the right. Trailhead is conveniently located by the trash barrel. Take the trail to the first junction @ 240 steps and take the trail to the right, basically continuing on the Peach Creek Loop Trail. Proceed to next junction and go left, slightly uphill and start counting from the skinny triple cluster of trees in the middle of the trail. You'll be going 300 steps total to a mossy dog-legged tree on the left hanging into the trail. Continue another 212 steps to magnolia on left, 11 steps off-trail.
