From Manila, UT take Hwy 44 South towards Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. At Route 1370 drive through the Geological Loop.
Box #1:
Take Brownie Lake Rd for about 5 miles. turn off to Sheep Creek Lake. As you enter, park at the sign in the grassy area. Walk towards the treeline on your right. It may be a little marshy in the spring.
As you approach the treeline find the little group of white aspen trees. There are 3 trees in that clump, one if which is very white. You will need to walk around the left side of a clump of shrubs to get to the trees.
There are 2 pine trees growing apart with bushes at the base.
You will find the letterbox at the base of the shrubs, possibly a few feet beyond.
If you can't see your car when you turn around at the treeline then you have gone to far into the trees.
Box #2:
Drive to Longs Park Reservoir in the Uinta Mountain Range. There is a fork in the road. Stay to the left and keep driving. you should drive over the river/canal. If you don't drive over the river/canal then you went the wrong way.
just over the river/canal, you will come to an intersection. The road splits off in multiple directions. You could veer right towards the reservoir, or veer left towards the hillside, or keep going straight. But to find the letterbox you will need to location a triangle shape of land in the middle of that intersection full of aspens, a few pines, and lots of shrubbery at the base.
Find the 2 big aspens with a smaller aspen in between.
The letterbox is hidden in the brush near the smaller aspen in the middle. You may have to uncover it from dirt. The bushes are scratchy so you may want gloves and a long sleeved shirt.
