East Hill Farm is a wonderful place for family visits, there is something for everyone: hiking trails, great food, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, farm animals to meet and feed, organized games and activities – all in a beautiful setting. Members of our extended family have been coming here on the same fall weekend for almost 20 years: we know we’ll be back for the family reunion next year!
To find our letterbox, take a short walk down to the dock at the pond. Take in the beautiful view of the mountain across the water – the day we planted “Reunion”, we went for a paddle-boat ride and saw a great blue heron there.
Turn around to head back up the path, and – starting from the bench - count 30 steps. To your left, about 10 feet off the path, you’ll see an old stone wall and a spot where three mature trees are growing out of the wall. “Reunion” is hidden in a crevice on the opposite side of the wall, close to the three trunks. Be careful: the large rock on the top of the wall is a little loose!
“Reunion” is the first letterbox we have created: We hope you enjoy your visit to East Hill Farm as much as we do!
**Note: you’ll need to bring your own ink pad
