Arrive at Rogers Environmental Education Center, and from the Parking Lot head North East towards the Visitors Center. Cross over the bridge and continue on the path.
Starting at the front of the Visitors Center entrance, head 145* South East, following the gravel path
After the garden take a Right, then veer Left onto the grass and follow across the bridge-listen for water traveling from the right of you, under you, then exiting out the left side of you
Continue straight
After the large pile of sticks, a “man-made habitat,” take a Right about 250* West
Water on your Right, continue upwards
Continue past the large tree trucks that have fallen down
Pass marker 4, and stop at 5
Pond to your left, walk towards the wooden fence surrounding the pond
Follow the wooden fence to the Right
At the end of the fence, take a Right and follow the path and veer left
Come across a “bridge,” sometimes water flows underneath
Look for a tall tree stump on the Left and stop in front of it
Take two steps forward and stop
Turn 90* to the right, the fallen tree has what you desire
