Just west of Spur 408 and east of Mountain Creek Parkway along I-20 is an island. The easiest way to find this Letterbox is to be on the island's south side, traveling east on I-20 in the far left lane.
Markers--south of I-20, running parallel, are large electric wires. Pull off of I-20, island side, even with the first, large electric tower going uphill, after the transformer. If you reach the Clark Rd./SPUR 408 Exit, you are too far east.
Walk north, up hill, and you will see a flat, little clearing, lower in altitude than to the immediate east, with four trees south of the tree line. Behind those four trees going north towards the treeline is a Mesquite tree; head towards its most southern branches. Curve slightly to the south around those branches, and follow the slight path into the woods, keeping the Mesquite tree to your left, west.
Angle Northeasterly into the wooded area about 25 feet. You will see several single trees to your north, and in between those single trees, is one double tree, makes a V. Letterbox is in an ammo can tethered to the eastern branch of the V on the north side. There is a long dead branch laying on the ground in front of/south side of the V double tree.
