These 'boxes are located along the newest leg of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail. About 2 miles, 'round trip. Easy walking on paved, flat path. Plenty of parking behind Niko's Express restaurant 5876 King Hwy.
Follow Horace Greely's advice, over the first bridge. At mile 16.4 you will be at South Wenke Park. Find MINNIE in the 'U' tree on your left.
Continue Westward. At mile 16.1 you will be at the DNR Access Site. Turn in here, don't be stumped! Head towards the river to learn about fish. Three wooden posts to the left then the guard rail begins. Find OLIVER hiding on the back side of the guard rail.
Onward again, for a while. Just before the sharp left turn, it's not a case of emergency but the LIMPING KITTY is hiding near the end of the guard rail.
Continue around the curves. Even if it's not raining, Sprinkle's above you. At 15.6 look on the West side of the trail where metal meets wood. A piece of plywood, then three little rocks cover the letterbaggy. After stamping the log book, Head East.
You won't have to (roto) root around the Four-Trunker that leans out over the trail, points toward a hydrant, and holds the TALL KITTY.
A bit further, between KANDLER 5501 & 5515, spy a spikey triple trunker to find FEISTY FELINE.
