Great climb to top for excellent views, but if weather is bad it can be tough!!!
Directions:
From Jaffrey, go west on Hwy 124, right on Dublin Rd, then left on Poole road to park entry. Park in lot on left.
To the Letterbox:
Take White dot trail going by visitor center. Go right on Cascade Link trail. Go left on Red Spot trail. Find trail junction sign for Red Spot trail and Pumpelly Trail. From sing and rock pile, go northwest at 320 degrees for 16 steps to rock along wall that points outward, and is about 2 1/2 feet off ground. Go to far side of it, and box is in cavity of wall behind a 6 inch rock in front.
