Welcome to our first letter box! We are two boys that got started letter boxing a couple years ago. We decided it was time to plant our own box. We picked a spot that is special to our family (the big tree by the box is great for setting kids in for cute pictures). It's a short walk but there are other trails to explore, and great nature viewing.
To find our letter box, start at the parking area on White Sands Rd (off of Bow Ln) in Pembroke, NH. Head North up the dirt rd and pass the bar gate. You're looking for a trial to the left that is marked by "two boys" on both the left and right of the trail. Follow the trail down and look for a tree with a GIANT branch reaching out towards the trail. There are two trees like that, the on the left is too small...keep going, you'll know when you're there if you can sit two boys on the branch (if you get to the beach, you went too far). Now stand under the big branch and turn your back to the river... see the double pine tree about twenty feet off the trail......... happy letter boxing!
