This is a Rangeley Lake Heritage Trust property located on Bonney Point Rd. which is off of Main St./Route 4 north of Rangeley center. If you are just going for the box and want a shorter hike take the trail to the right from the parking lot but if you want a really adventure go to the left (if its also a wet seasons go to the left it will be drier). Depending on which trail you take you will either take a right or a left when there is a fork in the trail. (You want the trail that heads towards the water). When you get to the lake the box is between the picnic table and the small cove, at the base of a cluster of cedar trees under a curved piece of wood. The small cove is away from the Bonney Point sign near the docks. After stamping your stamp on the booklet please put the container back were you found for those who come after you to enjoy. Thank you.
