Television is something I do not like. I never watch it. But now, thanks to my son, I am hooked on…..The Walking Dead. The show centers around Rick Grimes, a sheriff’s deputy in Georgia who, after waking up from a coma, finds the world infested with zombies. Rick and his band of survivors travel from place to place seeking safe haven. Gore aside, this show is good. I began watching at season 3, having caught up with seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix. Season 4 begins in October on AMC. Fans of the show know what you always have to be on the look-out for in a zombie apocalypse. But, surprisingly, it is the same thing letterboxers need to be on the look-out for as they stamp in. Ink and logbook included. Please re-hide well. Be very cautious…for you never know when you will come upon one……

Box is located at Alice Newton Street Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Take rte. 34 to North Racebrook Rd. After the Woodbridge town line, you will cross two major intersections with four-way stop signs. After the second intersection, watch for North Racebrook Rd to bear to the left. Follow it all the way to the end, taking a right onto Indian Trail Rd. Watch for wooden sign on right signaling trailhead. Bring clues along for Lewis & Clark; two pixie Hollow characters; Waterfalls thirty.

Enter and follow blue trail until the intersection of trails. Take the orange or West boundary trail. Follow until you come upon the Wepawaug Falls Blue Trail Maps wooden sign. Take the trail to your right and follow the way the zombie red arrow points. This is still the orange trail. You will soon notice a stone wall to your left. At the point where the wall curves, you will see an old, zombie looking tree. Look at it’s base. Hurry…stamp in…now RUN back to your car!!!
