Letter box clues:
Want to take a stroll downtown and see some of the things Parkersburg has to offer? Why not do so while on a letterbox hunt?
Eleven different locations await discovery and their letterboxes found. Follow these clues and you should have a fun time not only finding the letterboxes, but also learning about our community.

Note:
Please make sure to reclose the bags with materials inside when you've finished so that others will be able to have a good time as well.

Happy Hunting!!!

Place One:
Corner of 8th and Market Streets
Enter through the front doors. Look for a side gallery that has shiny floors. Search for the steel daffodil that is over 6 feet high. The letterbox is within the leaves that wish to touch the sky.

Place Two:
Corner of 7th and Market Streets
Enter the bistro and look to the left. There a brown stool, lonely, waits. Lift the lid and you will see a box for you it states.

Place Three:
On Market Street between 6th and 7th
Looking to get some energy before your battery tanks? Why not grab a coffee at this next spot? Something else you will see are the words "Give Thanks." Look below and you'll have gone from cold to hot.

Place Four:
On Market between 5th and 6th Streets
Making your way downtown, you might get a hunger for some pastries or bread. Why not indulge and get some instead? Smell the baker's treats and let yourself go. But don't forget to ask for clues as well as the dough.

Place Five:
On 5th Street between Market and Julianna
Look to the left of the main front doors. Before you stands a flower's pot. Look behind on the clean floors, a stamp should rest in that very spot.

Place Six:
On the corner of 7th and Market Streets
If you walk up to Avery St. then turn left, you will find a gazebo in a parking lot. Look for the wooden stairs, not another flower pot. The first stair you look under, will be the bag to which you should open, not sunder.

Place Seven:
On Market Street near 3rd
If a bistro or a bakery weren't your thing, go to this place and the bell above the door will ring. A café, crystal clear, will leave you saying at a table near the back, "I spy something on a shelf up high!"

Place Eight:
On the corner of 3rd and Market Streets
Quite a literary find in this hotel, head for a library. Starbucks has good tea. Take your drink and go for "Pride and Prejudice" which should be easy to see. Find the correct volume you'll need. Make sure to give "Persuasion" a read.

Place Nine:
On the corner of 7th and Avery Street
Want to have a look at the Bureau? I hear it's all about convention and visitors. Make sure to check the front desk, to and fro.

Place Ten:
On Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets
Want to get a workout in? Though I think this letter boxing game is giving you that already. If you really feel like it, go to this place to lift or take a bicycle spin. Make sure to find someone tall to get this for you, or find something that's nice and steady.

Place Eleven:
On Market Street between 8th and 9th Street
Feeling in a nostalgic mood? Head over to the store with Nostalgia attitude. Head upstairs and look for the green. The wooden cabinet is what's to be seen.

Finish:
Congratulations! You solved all the riddles and collected your stamps. I hope you come again and visit, because we like champs.
