If exiting from I-75, use exit 310. Head West toward Indian River. At the traffic light turn left. You will be heading South on US-27.
If coming from up M-68 from Alanson turn left at the signal light.
You will be heading North on US-27.

Indian river rests at the heart of the inland waterway, a 38 mile passage which includes two of Michigans largest inland lakes, Burt Lake and Mullet Lake. The stamp is of these two lakes & the river that connects them. Unfortunately when you stamp it it will be backwards, since I forgot to mirror the image. Inside the park in the parking lot for the beach is a sign with a nice depiction of the inland waterway. It’s worth checking out if you have the time.

Inland Waterway
Enter the state park. After passing the booth turn right toward the boat launch. Across the road from the Organizational Campground sign is the trail. Follow the trail to the first bend. Look carefully for a trail on the left by a big pine. Follow the trail until the T. Stop. Look straight ahead to the 2 birch trees (they form a v). Here is the Inland Waterway Stamp.
