In Port Jervis, NY, enter Skyline Drive, from Hwy 42, and follow it to Elks-Brox Park. At the park's highest point, enjoy the grand views as you overlook the Shawangunk and Kittatinny mountains, along with the Delaware and Neversink river valleys.
At the high point, start at the flag pole and walk along the stone wall, passing the bronze plaque on your right. Continue down the road to a double-track cinder trail off to the left.
Take this trail, crossing a road, and continue 12 steps from the road edge. At 6 degrees, see two slate slabs standing at the base of a red oak. Look behind the slabs, where they touch the tree. There you will find a SPOR and Fallen Leaf. Avoid being seen by eyes on the road and re-hide carefully.
