This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located at Farmers Field Park (Paradise Township). GO York level of difficulty = Easy
- Start your journey at the pavilion. Walk between it and the playground, continuing toward the baseball field.
- At the paved path, make a right and walk along the paved path.
- Continue past a drainage area on the left and then past two baseball fields on your left.
- As you approach the bend in the paved path, the post will be next to the third to last tree from the end.
- Continue along the paved trail back to the parking area.
