This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located at the York 4-H Center (West Manchester Township). GO York level of difficulty = Easy
- Locate the flagpole by the main building and begin there.
- With the building on your left and the flagpole at your back, begin to walk along the building.
- Notice how the doors on the building are numbered? Follow the numbers counting down from door 7 to door 4 (door 4 will be around the corner of building).
- When you get to door 4, locate and walk to the sand volleyball court. Feel free to play a game of hopscotch along the way.
- At the sand volleyball court, stop, turn around and look back the way you came.
- To your left you will see 3 pine trees along the edge of the field.
- The post will be near the pine trees.
