This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" â wooden posts with engraved plates on them â instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located at Kline's Run Park (Lower Windsor Township). GO York level of difficulty = Moderate
- Locate and start your journey at the Bulletin Board.
- Turn right at the bulletin board and walk to the first paved roadway.
- Turn left on the paved roadway. Get ready to climb a big hill!
- At the top of the hill, turn right at the first intersection and follow the paved roadway.
- Continue on the roadway to a âTâ intersection.
- Turn right and follow the paved roadway to the bottom of the hill.
- Around the corner and on the left of the roadway is a 10 mph sign.
- The post you seek is in the area near the creek.
- Continue to follow the roadway back to the parking area.
