This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located at Logan Park (Carroll Township). GO York level of difficulty = Easy
- Start at the playground and walk to the baseball field side of the red barn.
- Turn right and follow the paved trail across the park roadway.
- After crossing the park roadway, turn left remaining on the paved trail.
- Look for a sharp left-hand turn in the paved trail.
- Continue on the paved trail around the sharp left-hand turn.
- You will notice overflow parking on your right. Look for the first brown shed on your right, just past this area.
- The post for which you are looking is behind the brown shed.
- Continue along the paved trail as it circles back to the playground.
