This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located in the Heritage Rail Trail County Park and may be accessed from the Brillhart Station parking area. GO York level of difficulty = Easy
- Start at the bulletin board.
- Follow the paved path to the trail. Make sure you look both ways before crossing the roads!
- The trail turn left and crosses Days Mill Road.
- Walk north on the trail. You will cross a bridge.
- Continue following the trail north, past the wooden fence and the bench.
- Look for a canopy picnic table on the right.
- The post you are looking for is close to the table.
- Return to the parking area car the way you came.
