This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located along the Hanover-Spring Grove Trolley Line. GO York level of difficulty = Easy
- From the parking lot, begin at the trail next to the canopy picnic table.
- Follow to the main trail and turn right. Continue until you see a big rock on the left side.
- After looking at the rock, continue on your journey.
- Once you cross underneath a railroad bridge, count 2 telephone poles along the trail.
- The post will be near the second telephone pole.
- Return to the parking area the way you came.
