This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.
GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" â wooden posts with engraved plates on them â instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.
The letterbox is located at Cousler Park (Manchester Township). GO York level of difficulty = Easy
- Start at the gray metal gate.
- Just beyond the gate is a paved trail. Turn right on this paved trail and continue to the first âTâ intersection.
- Turn left and walk to the next intersection.
- Turn left again and follow the paved path. You should see baseball fields on your left and right.
- At the next intersection, go straight through continuing on the paved path.
- A playground should be on your left. Feel free to stop and play!
- Turn left at the next intersection, and continue on the paved path to the next intersection.
- Turn right, keeping the tennis courts on your right, and then left at the first paved path. Continue walking toward the stage.
- Follow these directions in reverse to return to the parking area.
