This letterbox is part of the GO and Dig It Up! program. It will be available from June 1, 2013 - August 18, 2013. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.

GO and Dig It Up! uses "garden plots" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into the program Gardener's Journal, available at any York County library.

The letterbox is located at Rocky Ridge County Park and may be accessed from the Oak Timbers Picnic Area. GO York level of difficulty = Moderate

- Begin in the rear gravel parking area by locating the yellow post underneath the power line.
- Follow the stone path for about 10 yards until you reach the intersection of two stone paths.
- Turn right here and continue along the trail under the power lines.
- Continue on trail #1. Look for a pond on your left with a large cement slab across the trail.
- Trail #1 will climb the hill and pass the intersection with trail #4. Remain on trail #1 until you arrive at the observation deck.
- After looking around, get back on trail #1 and enter woods. A short walk later, trail #1 will intersect with trail #2 on the right.
- Don’t turn on trail #2 – stay on trail #1. Walk down a small hill and look for the post on your left.
- Continue following trail #1 back to the parking area.
