Easy drive by
Hand caved stamp

As you travel around Green Valley and Sahaurita, you may notice an abundance of nuts. While many will be on the interstate, most will be hanging around some of the 104,000 pecan trees of the Green valley Pecan co. aka FICO. What started as a small family farm, is now 7000 acres of converted cotton fields. The family- owned operation is the worlds largest irrigated pecan orchard.

To find the box head east from I-19 on Sahaurita road 2.5 miles to Santa Rita Rd. which is about 0.6 miles east of Nogales hwy. Head north for 0.7 miles to almost the end of the paved road. There, on your right you will see a gate to one of the groves. As you face the gate on the right is a tree with #31. To the left of the tree are 3 fence posts. The box is in front of the center post buried under the dirt, debris and 3 rocks. If you feel like getting nuts, stop at the Pecan Store on the way back. They have goodies from sauce to nuts.
If the sign is gone the tree should still be there. If the tree is gone the box is near where tree used to be!!!!
Let us know the condition of the box.
