I am the freighter fairy who for hundreds of years, watched over the canoes, rafts and ships traveling north and south, on what is now called the St. Clair River. My name is Riva, (origin and meaning old French: river bank). Why French you might ask. Many French traveled this water-way trading furs and other goods with the Chippewa Indians and others. Algonac was first settled in 1805. In 1863 there was a population of 700, a few saw-mills and several other factories.
I was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Allayna (origin and meaning American: light). Allayna is an amazing fairy, in the summer months Allayna waves her wand and trillions of fireflies light up our world around us. With the stars above and the little fairy lights blinking all about, it makes for a glorious sight. Even more glorious than the old treasure chest full of jewels that Allayna stumbled upon one day along the shoreline. It is filled with shiny beauties, it must have come from one of the old ship wrecks. But, from which ship wreck she’s not sure, so for safe keeping she hid the treasure chest full of jewels along a wooded path.

Please re-hide carefully and bring your own ink pad. Bug spray containing DEET may be needed!

Clues/Riva
Past archers and shooters you will see ‘Men’ and ‘Women’
Walk past all of the 20 some yellow strips.
Walk straight to your right and 16-17 paces ahead, then you will see me resting in the middle of three wooded teen fairies.
Follow this road out and turn left to the Wagon Wheel Campground.
Remember we’re a secret. Now, go find Allayna she is expecting you.

Clues/Allayna
While walking toward the W. W. Camp watch to your left. You’ll see a few tall wooded 5 fingered hands guiding you along your way and another quite large with many arms.
Keep walking until you come to (on the right) a couple of natural bridges. Allayna will be nestled in her home behind the foot of a three trunk tree stump..
Travel ahead to seek the treasure chest we’ve become so fond of.

Clues/Treasure Chest
Stay on the road as you were. There are logs in a row.
Around the treasure chest are six tall wooded fairies dancing in a circle w/some holding hands.
You will also see Rep, the fairies very protective pet snake. Do not be upset, Rep is aware that the fairies want you to take a peek, ONLY a peek for Rep can be fierce.
Turn around before the path on your right unless you’re going to the water front.

Thank you for the visit. Please update regarding the status and condition of boxes
