The letterbox is located on the grounds of Locust Grove, the Samuel F. B. Morse Estate on the bank of the Hudson River. Follow the clues and enjoy a view of the gardens on your way to locating the letterbox.
CLUE:

At the back of the visitor's center and the shop,
A lovely path past a marker, is the first stop
A storage barn on your left sometimes has ferns
Walk straight ahead and do not turn
Take the right fork til the Greenery you meet
Look around and go to the planter and the decorative seat
Walk straight to the path in front of the main residence
Make a right, then a left, and past the side steps hence
When into the open you again come
At the back of the house, make a left...no need to run
Continue around to the lattice that's there
Down the steps, make a left and look down with care.
