Park up at the Kahler Road Parking lot. Bring your lunch and have picnic under the pavilion because that is where the search begins. Stand under the pavilion and look at the pond. Follow the rectangle stones to the stone walking path and head right on the path. Take a leisurely stroll towards the first bridge look for the stump with a plaque on it. Read about the hero that lost his life in the line of duty. Continue along the path and over the second bridge. You should be tired by now! It's a great day to stop and check out the scenery so sit on the first bench (after the second bridge) to the right of the path. The pond should be in front of you, do you see any ducks? Waddle towards the "Lewis Family" sign located in the landscaped area in front of you and search for our nest. Do not dig as it is not buried. Look high, look low, look in, look out!
HINT: Think nest!
