A year ago I placed my first letter box. I am 9 years old (almost 10 now)now and want to plant another. Please know it is important to arrive hungry to this next quick adventure. By the way, my favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip!
Super easy Trail!
Distance - only 100+ steps from the trailer.
Directions:
Route 101 West (heading from Bedford/Manchester)or East (from Milford/Keene). From Bedford go about 10 miles west on route 101 until you see Basket Barn and Tastee Kone on your right. If driving East, from the Milford Market Basket it's about 7 miles until you reach Basket Barn and Tastee Kone on your left. Pull into the parking lot.
Behind the Tastee Kone red trailer there is a very large evergreen tree. Keep to the right of it and start at the gravel at the pile of branches on the ground. Take about 100 steps from the pile of branches straight back to an uprooted tree. In the base of the uprooted tree there is a large hole (perfect for a small animal to live in). Find your letterbox in there under some leaves. Let us know in your entry your favorite flavor.
