Babymouse lives at Larson Lake’s Blueberry Field. One day she decided she was going on an adventure through the forest, just beyond the fields. She got lost deep in the woods and couldn’t find her way home.

At lunchtime when Babymouse didn’t come home for her scrumptious lunch of cheese and blueberries, Mama Mouse got worried. Mama saw a trail of flower petals leading behind the big barn, so she began to follow it.

She saw an apple tree with a half eaten apple on the ground. Babymouse must have gotten hungry. Which way did she got next? The trail led to the left or the right. On the right, Mama saw a wonderful climbing tree with more petals at its base. Babymouse must have gone that way!

Passing between the four large trees, Mama came to another path. Go left or right? Babymouse knows not to go into the street, so she must have gone left. Mama saw more flower petals along the creek, so she stayed to her left and walked along the path between the creek and the fence.

Mama stopped to admire the view that looked out to the beautiful Larson Lake. It was so pretty! She could see ducks, trees, gardens, and the blueberry fields. She kept walking until she came to a fork in the road. She turned left, as she saw two cedar trees; one of them was a tall dead stump. She kept walking and passed by a dead stump on her right. From that dead stump, she counted off 19 steps and stopped by a prickly bush on her left that had 2 fallen tree logs left of it. She could hear a small squeak coming from the two cedar trees on the other side of the prickly bushes.

To the right of the prickly bushes is a small mouse path. See if you can find Babymouse hiding among the trees. She may be hidden in the roots, because she was scared. Look in the roots of the first cedar. You may need to open Babymouse's door (remove some tree branches -some natural offshoots are growing around the roots too) to find her.

Make sure you hide her carefully back in the tree when finished.

Please help find Babymouse!
