Enter Park at Royal Palm Beach Blvd. on the west side of the Road North of Southern Blvd.
Drive to farthest east parking area and park. Walk toward the picnic pavilions and cross the bridge continuing toward picnic pavilion #15.
As you are looking out to the water from under the pavilion, look to the farthest left pylon. Walk toward the water and turn around to face the picnic pavilion.
Look at the base of the same pylon ( which will now be the one on your right). There are multiple apple snails as camouflage.
The letterbox contains information about a "Big Apple" in our area. Look at the reeds in the water for their pink Styrofoam-looking "seeds". You will find evidence of their impact on their "neighbors" at the water's edge. We've included a home-made stamp and logbook, but you will need our own pen.
This is a new park with a dichotomy of activities including fishing, canoeing, kayaking, running, biking, and even a driving range! Nominal fees for canoe and kayak renal.
