Visit the free museum to get a copy of the trail map and be sure to enjoy the sites in this park. To find the box, follow the signs in the direction of the Boardwalk. Just past Barrow Pit you come to a point in which you can go 3 ways. Turn right. Continue past the Mound 15 sign. Continue past the Mound 14 Sector Sign.
Arrive at the Mound 12 sign. Facing the Mound 12 sign, look over the sign toward Mound 12. Look slightly left to the tree with the thickest trunk. Box is at the base of the tree, in a hole on the front of the tree, protected by a sturdy tree root.
