The story of the great automobile called the Cadillac will follow in a few days.

Directions:
The city of Columbus lies west of Houston on Interstate 10. 4 1/2 miles west of Columbus you will come to the Colorado County Safety Rest Area. Pull in and park, stretch your legs and use the beautiful and clean facilities. When you are ready to find the Caddy, go around to the west side of the building and make your way to the truck parking area. There will be a lot of trucks there, no doubt, but they won't be paying any attention to you. Cross the parking lot to the grassy area beyond. Okay, this is where people "walk" their dogs, so watch your step. When you get there, notice the chain-link fence at the back of the property. Walk straight back to it. Follow the fence visually to the left where it comes to a corner behind a stand of small trees and shrubs. Just before you come to the bushes, you will see a medium size oak standing alone about a foot from the fence and, just past it, a fence post, one of many. The next post is just inside the cover of the shrubs. Near the top of that post you will find the box hanging on the fence. When you open it, notice how the stamp an logbook are arranged, because you will need to place them back into the box in exactly the same way. Please let me know the status of the box. Thank you.
