Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk to revolutionize space transportation through its Falcon launch vehicles and Dragon spacecraft. The company's prototype rocket, Falcon 1, was the first privately developed liquid-fueled rocket to reach orbit. The more powerful Falcon 9 rocket debuted with back-to-back successful flights in June and December of 2010. Looking to the future, SpaceX has announced its plans for Falcon Heavy, the most powerful rocket in the world, second only to the Apollo-era Saturn V. Though the design and manufacturing facilities are located in California, the propulsion and structural test facilities are located just outside McGregor, Texas. Since they are also planning to build a launch site near Brownsville, I think they should rename the company SpaceTX, and this box contains a stamp of my recommended logo. It can be found at McGregor Cemetery.
Directions:
From Hwy 84 take TX 317 north for 0.3 miles to East Windsor Rd. Turn right and go 0.3 miles to McGregor Cemetery on the right just after RR tracks. Take first left in cemetery and park by light pole on left as road bends right.
Clues:
Walk northeast from light pole 68 steps to a large "Pleasant" crepe myrtle tree. LB is within trunks under a rock and sticks. Please be discreet and replace as described.
