The Wassuc Cemetery is at the very end of New London Turnpike in Glastonbury. Going southbound on New London Turnpike after you pass Rt 83, the main road becomes Wassuc Rd. and New London Turnpike branches off to the left. This section is a dead end. The cemetery will be on the left. It's best to turn around and park along the road in front of the cemetery. You want to enter at the end away from the houses.

To find the box, walk straight to the back and look for John Bromley who died in 1908. Facing the stone, look for the post behind it at the tree line. Then look among all the sisters next to it. Be discreet and cover well when you are done.

Now wander around and enjoy the carvings - many of the old brownstone ones are very well preserved.
