Note: Before you start out I suggest you read the clue all the way through to decide whether you want to attempt this box.
NOTE: 3/6/14 This box was planted in December. By the following July the brush was thick enough to nearly obscure the location of the hiding place. On good days in the winter and spring it shouldn't be too bad. I am trying to find an alternate route.
Note: 10/17/14. There doesn't seem to be any be any better way to reach the box.
Find Rothwell Park. Park by the tennis courts and cross the street and head west on the paved trail next to the highway. At the end of the chainlink fence on the north of the path,look south into the woods for basket 17. Go to basket. Follow the trail to basket 16, watching for golfers coming toward you. Look for "T" in trail. Downhill to left is a long wooden bridge. Follow the right trail 255 degrees away from golf course trail. Cross narrow wooden bridge and stay on trail. As the trail approaches the creek bottom, notice a tree with 2 "legs" on your left. From north side of tree, look 220 degrees for large oak tree with exposed roots halfway up a steep bank. Cross the creek and take advantage of a slope north of the tree. The ledge can be a bit daunting. It is quite narrow and can be very slippery when wet, so exercise caution. You will find the storyteller in the first hole at the base of the tree behind a wooden shield. You will probably want to take her to a more comfortable location to log in and learn more about her. Black ink is suggested. Be safe.
I hope you find her worth your time and effort.
