The Enchanted Unicorns is a magical letterbox trail that is sponsored and hidden by Girl Scout Troop 11558 as a requirement for their letterboxing badge. They chose unicorns because their troop crest is the unicorn.

The trail starts at the Johnson Park entrance to the Olde Town Trail that leads to Parker Rd and continues on to Nancy Guinn Library. Our boxes are only hidden between Johnson Park and Parker Rd. (about a 1 mile hike).

Box 1
Start at the big rocks at the entrance to the Olde Town Trail at Johnson Park and head down the paved pathway.

Stop at the stop sign/crosswalk and watch for traffic as you continue across the street.

From the 2nd set of 3 posts, go about 80-90 steps and look to your right. See an animal path leading to a rock outcropping.

Box 1 is hidden behind the leaning pine. Please re-hide well.

Box 2
Continue on down the path.

View the field on your right.

Slowly make your way down the hill and view another field on your left. Look for wild turkeys!

Next, come to a double bridge. Can you spot any fish?

Up the hill to the Wildlife Habitat.

Take a rest in the semi-circle, facing the path.

Do you see the tree with triplet trunks?
The box you seek lives there. Please re-hide well.

Box 3
From the Wildlife Habitat, continue on the winding path.

How far is it to the Rockdale Career Academy?

Starting from the sign with the answer, count light poles.

The box you seek is in the rocks at the 3rd light pole. Please re-hide well.
