I did cut myself a really good gash on the thumb carving this stamp, so.....enjoy?
The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm Historic Site is the last remaining stagecoach stop open to the public on the Santa Fe Trail. The historic site offers a unique hands-on experience for visitors of all ages focusing on 1860s farming, stagecoach operations and westward expansion. We love to go and feed the chickens, goats, cows and look at the fantastic homestead from 1865. Some days they even make food the in cellar kitchen for sampling. Today we had lemon tarts. Delicious! One time we had lemon cake. It tasted nothing like what we get out of a box and cook in a modern oven. It was heavenly. We also got to ride in a stagecoach around the property. I don't know how they did it in the olden days but ouchie. The blacksmith made a few hooks and nails while we watched. It is a fantastic place yet no one seems to go there. We were one of three families there all afternoon. It costs $6 for adults and $4 for kids over 5. It's worth every penny.

Go 39 paces North from the back door of the blacksmiths.
You should see a wooden platform. Go 7 paces East along the platform.
Westward Ho is under the 3rd support from the West.
