Planted as part of International Plant A Letterbox Day 2012, this stamp was inspired by the Ewe Review 2 in Rochester occuring at the same time. At the time of planting, sheep statues decorated in a 'movie' theme by local businesses are scattered throughout the city.

This box is located off the Clinton River Trail in Rochester. Begin in the trail access parking lot located on Letica St. near Second St. As you begin to head along the trail in a generally eastern direction, you'll cross the driveway of a company located off to your right. Continuing along the trail you'll soon come to a small clear-cut area on your right, offering you a view of a chain-link fence. As you pass this clearing, begin counting your steps. At around 90 paces (180 steps), you should see a trail leading up & over a short (5 feet tall or so), but steep hill. As you carefully take this trail over the hill, you'll emerge into a clearing bordered by the Clinton River straight ahead and a gate in the aforementioned chain-link fence on your far right. Continue along this path until it intersects with a narrow but well-worn trail. As you take this trail, notice the massive logjam in the river to your right, dominated by a fallen giant. Looks like he's been there quite a while. The narrow trail you're on will soon lead you into the edge of the woods and along the river's edge. Watch your step as the trail comes close to the river at several points. Following the trail downstream you'll soon come to a point where another trail forks off slightly to the left. About 6 feet or so down the left fork of the trail, you'll notice what appears to be a much smaller logjam/debris pile to your left, under another fallen tree. Immediately to the right of the logjam a medium-sized(?) dead tree still stands. The box waits behind this tree beneath a cover of bark. As always, please re-hide carefully. You may want bug spray, as well.
