The trailhead for Badger Creek Trail can be found across from Bonney Creek Campground, outside of Tygh Valley on the east slope of Mt. Hood, in the Badger Creek Wilderness. You can dayhike for this box, or make a backpack out of it.
At about 5 miles from the trailhead, steep Pine Creek will flow into Badger Creek, on the other side of Badger Creek from the trail. There is a very nice 3-4 tent campsite there too. Starting across from Pine Creek, at about 90 steps is a small waterfall on Badger Creek; at about another 100 steps is a rocky outcropping along the trail; near the end of the rocky outcropping, at about 5 feet up, is a small ledge with rocks that hides the Honey Badger that Doesn't Give A Rip.
