Aztec was named after the nearby Aztec Ruins and was founded in 1876. It is the seat of San Juan County.
From the intersection of Main Ave. and Aztec Blvd.,go to the northeast corner. The area is landscaped and includes a retaining wall curving around the corner. Go to the northern end of the wall where it makes a 90 degree turn to the right. The letterbox is inside this corner against the two
walls.
08/04/13: Letterbox is missing. Decided to archive this letterbox and put in a new letterbox.
