Enter Little Stony Point and cross the red bridge over the railroad. Where the trail divides, follow the trail to the right -- heading North. When you get to the next crossroads take a left. Keep going. The box is hidden under a rock just off the left side of the trail -- about 20 feet before the point at which the trail begins to divide, and where the open meadow begins. To find the rock, stand at the point where the trail begins to divide just before the meadow -- and walk backwards counting 9 trees in a row (on your left/opposite the river side of the trail). Behind the 9th tree is a small slope with a series of rocks. Under one of the first big rocks is the letterbox -- it is tucked just behind a small rock which keeps it in place and hides it from view.

The letterbox is a green box containing a notepad, two pencils, a stamp with a picture of George Washington (hence the name 'George Washington') and a blue ink-pad. Stamp a blue George Washington on your paper and sign your name in the notepad!
