This box is a tribute to Canaseraga's annual Fall Harvest festival (which is held the third full weekend in September). The main location for the festival is the village park, although you will find the whole village enthralled in the festivities! The festival offers a wide range of fun family events including a parade, car show, tractor show, scarecrow contest, and the famed Hairy Women of Klipnocky Beauty contest.

Please be careful to be discreet when searching for the fall harvest box! Although this box is titled "Fall Harvest", it is mostly a tribute to the festival because It will be nearly impossible to make a discreet find during the festival. If it is unavoidable you must plan carefully to avoid most of the festival traffic and on-lookers to prevent being detected (i.e., go very early in the morning). [During the festival I may add an event stamp...(stay tuned)]

Speaking of the Hairy Women of Kipnocky, you must also be careful to avoid rattling them while you are searching. They can be ornery and cantankerous, and on more than a few occasions we have lost some folks who trampled their stompin' grounds. If you are careful, and respectful of the grounds, and park rules you shouldn't have any unfortunate run-ins. If you aren't sure what a Hairy Woman of Klipnocky is, take note of the photo. Should you spot one while out searching, RUN!

If you dare to proceed:
Park in the designated location. A short stroll is necessary to find this box (traffic is not allowed beyond the designated parking area).
Locate the pavilion (It would actually be hard NOT to find it). Stand at the end of the pavilion, right at the back door of the facility facing the field.
As you look out across the field, search for a utility pole directly ahead of where you are standing. Proceed straight ahead to the pole.
Once you have reached the pole, stand arms length away from the pole facing the stream (away from the park).
The box you are seeking is directly ahead, approximately 4 to 5 steps.
The box is under some rocks, and tree limbs at the base of a small tree. (Careful of prickers, you may need to find a stick to push stray pricker-bush weeds aside.)

Please re-wrap the contents and box, and re-hide it well! And remember, the Hairy Women are watching you, so leave no trace!
