Park along River Road. If coming from Green Hill Road, you'll just pass Paper Mill Road and park on the left just before crossing the river. This is where the Blue Blaze hiking trail begins. Follow this trail along the river and enjoy the views. You will come to a road which is Paper Mill, it crosses the river and gets you to the other side. Follow the trail, you will pass a seven trunk tree on the left. Begin hiking up the hill, while keeping a look out on the left for a very large tree stump. The tree stump is located approximately 10 yards off the trail, part way down the hill. There is a hemlock tree just behind the stump. Our letterbox is hidden deep inside the stump. Hope you are enjoying your hike!!
Keep moving up the hill and you will soon cross an old rock wall. Go east along the rock wall until you pass a very tall white pine tree on your left. Climb over the rock wall now because just ahead the wall ends and the ledge drops down. Look under the rock wall to find our second letterbox. Hope you enjoyed the adventure, and keep moving!!
