THIS BOX IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

Ask anyone, and most will tell you that Las Vegas is the Wedding Capital of the World. Few, however, can tell you that in the 1940's and 1950's there was a working dude ranch North of Las Vegas specifically for prospective divorcees waiting out a six-week residency requirement!

DIRECTIONS
Floyd Lamb Park is approximately 15 miles north of downtown Las Vegas. Take US 95 North to Durango. Turn right/ North on Durango to Brent Lane and turn right/East. Brent turns into Tule Springs Road taking you to the entrance to the park. There is a $6.00 entrance fee per car, or $1.00 per person to enter by walk/bike/horse.

CLUE
Find the Grove Group Use Area in the North/East section of the park. In the Southeast corner of the horseshoe pits is a trail. Take a stroll on this trail until you find an abandoned wooden equestrian hurdle. Look inside the front, right corner under the board.

Floyd Lamb Park is truly an oasis in the Las Vegas desert. Please take the time to explore the Historical Area in the Southernmost part of the park near the entrance before or after you have stamped in. You may want to bring a blanket and a picnic lunch along. Watch out for sneaky geese and begging ducks, and don't forget your camera.
