Semper Fidelis is latin for "Always Faithful" or "Always Loyal". It has served as a slogan for many families and entities, in many countries, dated to have been started no later than the 16th century. We created this letterbox in honor of our wedding day. Although we're not from Fredericksburg, this is where we were married and placed the box within minutes of finalizing our vows to each other. We thought it would be a fun way of celebrating our unity and tried to come up with something unique, so I hope everyone enjoys this letterbox as much as us!!
Directions: On Main St. in Fredericksburg is the city square which is located across from the courthouse. Look for the Vereins Kirche Museum which can be recognized by the octagon shaped building. Behind here you will notice a water wheel and a statue to the right behind it called 'Lasting Friendship'. If you look to your left from the statue, you will see a twisted tree by the rock mass. Find the box at its base behind the tree and under some rocks. Please replace well as this park area is well maintained!
