Rose Hill Cemetery letterbox

Background:
Rose Hill Cemetery is said to contain many different forms of paranormal activity: glowing orbs, ectoplasm (ewww), and apparitions as well! Yet no one knows exactly which spirits haunt this cemetery. It could be the spirits of Lester and Stanley. They were both killed in the summer of 1916 by the Matawan Man-Eater, a great white shark which swan up the Matawan creek and killed the boy first, then the man who went in to search for him. Or maybe, it is the souls of the dead from the Revolution, who are buried under some of the now unreadable grave markers.

Directions:
The Rose Hill Cemetery is located on Ravine Drive in Matawan, NJ. To get there from Route 35, take Cliffwood Avenue westward. You will make the first left after you cross over the Parkway, onto Cross Road. This will become Ravine Drive, and the cemetery will pop up shortly on your left. Pass it, turn around, and park outside in front of the house to the south.
Please note: There are posted no trespassing signs here, because of past vandalism. Do not attempt this box at night, although the gates are always open.
